Digital Specialist

Position Summary

The Director of Accounts and Strategy holds a leadership role and acts as a strategic advisor and partner to the organization’s portfolio of accounts.   This includes responsibility for strategy development, client satisfaction, account revenue growth and overall account profitability as well as direct management of the account services team. Director assists GPRS’ Chief Executive Officer and leadership team with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining GPRS’ business priorities and associated strategic initiatives.  Functions as an external consultant in client engagements and as an internal consultant to GPRS staff.

Position Responsibilities

Account Management and Strategy
  • Lead the strategic development of account plans to grow existing portfolio, maintain portfolio profitability and achieve growth targets
  • Own, develop and cultivate relationships with key team members at all levels of the client organization and provide superior client service
  • Provide internal teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business initiatives to ensure the execution and implementation of projects are aligned with client’s strategy
  • Participate in new business pitches and partner with CEO on new opportunities
  • Leads or participates in consulting engagements as required
  • Present research/findings and strategies/insights in client team meetings
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the clients’ marketplace, monitor/interpret social and cultural trends relevant to the clients’ business and develop vertical expertise
  • Develop and coach team, ensuring they are aligned to the company strategy and have the appropriate priorities, goals, processes and resources to achieve the business plan
  • Develops and maintains harmonious client relationships
  • Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and handles timely follow-up
  • Identifies new opportunities, renewals, potential updates to existing tactics, etc. with current clients to help organically grow accounts
Financial
  • Manages the budget for each client by reviewing estimated hours versus actual hours on a monthly basis and leads internal and external budget meetings
  • Works with Director of Operations to develop estimation guides, change orders, and addition requests as needed to be reviewed by senior management
  • Works closely with agency billing and finance team to ensure budgets are adhered to, and estimates are revised and approved in a timely manner when appropriate

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years previous marketing agency experience required. Higher Ed, Pharma and/or Middle Market advertising experience a plus
  • 5+ years of leadership experience directly managing a team
  • 5+ years of P&L responsibility for a business or business unit of 10 million +
  • Documented track record of growing accounts and client revenue
  • Proven leader with entrepreneurial and mentoring mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, results-driven and customer-focused environment

DIGITAL MARKETING MEDIA SUPERVISOR

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Media Supervisor leads GPRS’ Digital Marketing Team – providing strategic guidance and leadership to the marketing staff, and overseeing search engine marketing, SEO and social media marketing deliverables while directly contributing to the strategies associated with those tasks. In addition, the position will act as the “face” of the Digital Marketing Team for client/prospect meetings and agency presentations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Directs the analysis, recommendations and optimizations provided by Digital Marketing Team members
  • Reviews setup and performance of SEM/SEO clients including media briefs, ad copy, account QA, and reports
  • Oversees top tier SEM/PPC accounts, including monthly reports and monthly optimizations
  • Estimates SEM/Media services working with Operations and Business Development Teams
  • Establishes agency process documentation for media deliverables, onboarding, etc.
  • Participates in client/prospect meetings and agency presentations as needed
  • Provides strategy and implementation of paid social media campaigns, often complementing a client’s organic strategy
  • Oversees media planning and vendor negotiations
  • Fosters the growth of media team staff

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must be a team player, solutions-oriented and have a great attitude

  • 5-7+ years of experience, with demonstrated history of running high-performing campaigns, budget management and a client-facing role within in an agency or media department.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition strategies and tactics
  • In-depth experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, LinkedIn, Facebook marketing platforms, knowledge in AdStage is a plus
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO/SEM and paid social channels

SEARCH MARKETING SPECIALIST

Position Summary

The Search Marketing Specialist requires a deep understanding of paid and organic media, including but not limited to: Paid Search / PPC, Paid Social Media, Display Banners Ads, and Search Engine Optimization / SEO. The specialist will be the subject matter expert and provide strategic recommendations and execute client media plans. This role will own and manage client campaigns, from the initial setup to ongoing optimization and reporting – all with a focus on conversion/ROI.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize paid media strategies to increase campaign effectiveness
  • Develop, build, implement and manage paid search campaigns
  • Develop, build, implement and manage paid social media campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of campaigns; manage and optimize to meet client and internal performance goals
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid media campaigns
  • Manage, track and report campaign budgets
  • Partner with account management team on client calls. Update client on performance and activities and provide insights around the client’s marketing and website results
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics , initiatives and campaigns
  • Research and analyze competitive landscape
  • Optimize website copy and landing pages for search engines and conversions
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Perform on-page SEO, technical SEO, link analysis, and link building
  • Local search and digital listings management (NAP)
  • Use SEO tools to monitor, analyze and optimize website activity, traffic trends, SERP rankings through monthly reports.
  • Work with project management to ensure that SEO best practices are implemented across client projects
  • Support SEO for client’s social media strategy, including recommendations for blogs, video, and social media channels
  • Track work assignments daily

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2-4 years of SEM experience
  • Managed multiple paid media campaigns with monthly budgets of $10k+
  • Understanding of landing page best practices and A/B testing
  • Hands-on experience with site analytics – Google Analytics, Webtrends, SiteCatalyst
  • Experienced in lead generation and performance marketing
  • Up-to-date with SEM trends and best practices
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
    • Excel including pivot tables, v-look ups, and web queries
    • Power Point knowledge including linking excel docs, webpages, and ad ons
  • Strong attention to detail
